"Mossiest Roof Contest" — Official Rules

Last updated: July 14, 2026

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor

The "Mossiest Roof Contest" (the "Contest") is sponsored and administered by Clean425, LLC ("Sponsor"), 18121 197th Pl NE, Woodinville, WA 98077. Phone: (425) 999-3101.

2. No Purchase Necessary

Entry is free. No purchase, payment, or other consideration is required to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Washington State who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The nominated roof must be on a residential property located within Sponsor's service area, as shown at clean425.com/areas-served. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family or household members are not eligible. Properties must be structurally sound and safely serviceable, as determined by Sponsor.

4. Contest Period

The Contest begins Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time and entries close Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Public voting on finalists runs August 10–16, 2026. The winner will be announced on or about Monday, August 17, 2026.

5. How to Enter

Enter by completing the entry form at contest.clean425.com. You may nominate (a) a roof on a property you own or reside at, or (b) a roof on someone else's property. Limit one (1) entry per property; a person may nominate multiple different properties. Photos are encouraged but not required. By submitting a photo, you represent that you took it or have permission to use it and you grant Sponsor a license to use it to administer the Contest.

Third-party nominations. If you nominate a property you do not own, you represent that you have a good-faith belief the owner would welcome the nomination. Sponsor will contact the property owner for written or recorded consent before the property is included in judging, receives a judging visit, or appears in any public post, gallery, or voting display. Properties whose owners do not consent will be withdrawn without any public disclosure.

6. Judging; Finalist Visits

Sponsor's panel will evaluate eligible, consenting entries based on submitted photos and available imagery of the nominated roof. Finalists will receive a free, no-obligation in-person "official judging visit" from Sponsor to assess moss conditions and document the roof. Any entrant or nominated owner may separately request a free estimate at any time; Sponsor may provide entrants promotional offers for its services. Accepting or declining any offer or estimate has no effect on Contest standing.

7. Winner Selection

Featured entries. During the Contest Period, Sponsor may feature selected consenting entries on its website and social media pages. Featured entries receive no prize and remain eligible to win.

Finalists and Grand Winner. On or about August 10, 2026, Sponsor's judging panel will select six to ten (6–10) finalists. One (1) Grand Winner will be selected based on a combined score: 50% panel score and 50% public vote.

Panel criteria: extent of moss coverage (40%), moss thickness/density (40%), visibility and overall "mossiness" impression (20%). This is a contest of skill-based judging applied to roof condition; winning depends on the condition of nominated roofs and the criteria above, not on chance.

Public vote: conducted August 10–16, 2026 on Sponsor's Facebook page and/or clean425.com. Limit one vote per person per day per platform. Sponsor may disqualify votes it reasonably believes are fraudulent, automated, or purchased. In the event of a tie, the panel score decides.

8. Prizes

One (1) Grand Prize: one professional roof cleaning and moss treatment for the winning roof, performed by Sponsor. Approximate retail value ("ARV"): up to $1,999, based on roof size and condition. Total ARV of all prizes: up to $1,999.

The prize is non-transferable, applies only to the nominated property, and may not be redeemed for cash. Grand Prize service must be scheduled for completion by September 30, 2026, subject to weather and safety. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. If the roof cannot be safely serviced (e.g., structural damage), Sponsor may award the owner a service credit of equivalent value toward other services instead.

The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize and may be required to provide tax documentation where required by law.

8A. Everyone-Wins Offers (Independent of the Contest)

The offers below are promotional incentives, not Contest prizes. They are not based on chance or on the judging in Sections 6–7, do not depend on winning, and do not affect Contest standing.

$200 off (for the nominated roof). Every nominated property whose owner consents may receive $200 off any Clean425 roof or moss service, valid through August 31, 2026 (service may be scheduled into September 2026). Limit one (1) $200-off offer per property; not combinable with the Grand Prize on the same service.

$100 referral reward (for the nominator). If you nominate a roof on a property you do not own or reside at, and that property’s owner books and pays in full for a qualifying Clean425 roof or moss service on or before September 30, 2026, Sponsor will issue you a $100 Clean425 account credit after that service is completed and paid. Limit one (1) $100 reward per referred property; you may earn it for multiple different referred properties. Nominating your own roof or residence does not qualify. The referred owner must have consented to the nomination and to the service. Referral rewards may be reported on IRS Form 1099 where required by law, and the recipient is responsible for any applicable taxes.

9. Winner Notification

The potential winner (the property owner) will be notified by phone and/or email on or about August 17, 2026 and must respond within five (5) days and sign a prize acceptance, publicity, and property-access release. Failure to respond, ineligibility, or refusal of the release will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate.

10. Publicity Release

By accepting the prize, the winner grants Sponsor the right to photograph and video the nominated property and the services performed, and to use the winner's first name, neighborhood/city, statements, and property images in Sponsor's marketing, in perpetuity, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Consenting finalists grant Sponsor the right to display property photos for public voting.

11. Entrant Communications

By entering, you agree Sponsor may contact you by phone or email regarding your entry. Marketing texts/calls are sent only with your separate, optional consent on the entry form; consent is not a condition of entry or winning. Entrants and nominated owners may receive promotional offers from Sponsor; these offers are independent of the Contest and accepting or declining them does not affect Contest standing.

12. General Conditions

Sponsor may disqualify any entry that is fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or submitted without required consent, and may cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud or technical failure impairs its integrity, awarding prizes from eligible entries received. Sponsor's decisions are final. By entering, entrants release Sponsor from any claims arising from participation, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these rules limits liability for Sponsor's performance of prize services, which are covered under Sponsor's standard service terms and insurance.

13. Meta Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram). Each entrant completely releases Meta from all liability. Information is provided to Sponsor, not to Meta.

14. Privacy

Information collected will be used to administer the Contest and, with applicable consent, for Sponsor's marketing, per Sponsor's privacy policy at clean425.com/privacy-policy. Entrant information will not be sold.

15. Disputes; Governing Law

These rules are governed by Washington law. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
